All I Want For Christmas

I've decided not to do gifts this year for Christmas. I don't have any little kids in my life, and with everyone else I know, anything any of us wants we just go out and get it ourselves, so being forced to shop for gifts because of the date on the calendar is a little silly to me. (Don't get me wrong, I love gift giving! It's my Love Language! But I like it when it's organic and not out of obligation.)

But if anyone did decide to go shopping for me this year, these are some things I would love to see under my tree...

Out of Print Tees

I've been wanting one of these tees forever, but I never pull the trigger on getting one for myself. These ones are my favorite because they are books I teach, so they would be lots of fun to wear in class.

I also really love their coaster set

YA Saves Tee and/or DFTBA Tee

Another shirt I would love is one of these nerdfighter tees. I could also rock these at work, and I would know that if a student knew what these meant that those are the students to give As to. (Kidding! Sorta.)

Noise Canceling Headphones

I do a lot of my writing at places like Panera and Starbucks, and my little earbuds just don't cut out the background noise like I would like. I'd love a nice set of headphones like this so I could space out in my own little world while I write.

Books (Duh)
(Click on each image for more info)

There are a few books on my radar that I haven't gotten around to picking up yet. I've been on a bit of a book buying ban since I have so many unread books on my shelves, but it kills me knowing there are these awesome books out there (or coming out soon) that I haven't read yet!

Yoga Studio Membership

I absolutely love yoga. Not just as a workout, but also for its spiritual, emotional, and mental benefits. But the monthly membership at a studio is so expensive and pretty much out of this teacher's budget.

Jason Segel

If you can get him under my tree of his own volition, that would be awesome, but if you have to pull a Cousin Eddie and kidnap him to get him here, that's fine, too. I'll take him however I can get him. Just Jason Segel, wrapped in a bow, and I would be the happiest girl you have ever seen.

But if you could get Jason Segel to wear the Keep Calm and DFTBA tee, I think I would die of the amazing.

Anything fun on your list this year? Or...anyone want to play Santa for me? (Kidding again! Sorta.)

  3. Haha, Jason Segel!
I want those coasters, too. And I used a groupon for a month at Yogaworks a while back--now I am in withdrawal. So I'd like a yoga membership, too.

  5. I asked Santa for Jason Segel too. If I get him, I'll send him on over your way after I'm done. #friendship

  6. I have a few things on my wish list, but I think if I got The Call, that would about do it for me. :)

  7. I have an Out of Print t-shirt (1984) and I LOVE it. It's all soft and the fit is perfect. If you don't get one for Christmas, order yourself one. Worth it!

Also, I'd LOVE a yoga studio membership as well!

  8. Great choices! I love all the tees, and of course books. Noise cancelling headphones would be great for cafes, and I'd LOVE a yoga membership. I really want to start doing yoga regularly.

    Happy Holidays!
