Class of 2012 Blogfest - My 2012 Releases Reading List

With the Class of 2012: YA Superlatives Blogfest starting on Monday, I thought I would recap all of the 2012 releases I read. If I raved about them here on my blog, I've linked to the post so you can find out more information about the book. (If you are curious about every book I've read this year, or any year, you can check out that list here.) (And just because I didn't rave about it on the blog doesn't mean I didn't love it.)

I'm hoping to squeeze in at least two more books before the blogfest, so if I do, I'll update this in the next few days.

So, here it is. The list of 2012 YA releases I'll be working with for the Class of 2012: YA Superlatives Blogfest. (In absolutely no order whatsoever.)

As you can see, I read a LOT of contemporary. So choosing in the contemp categories is going to be a LOT tougher than, say, the dystopian categories for me. It's choosing between all my favorites!

Tune in next week to see all my picks. And be sure to post yours, too!

How many 2012 releases did you read this year?

  1. I'm excited to see your superlatives list next week. And you have great list of 2012 reads. I've never heard of I am Not the Walrus, but my the title alone I want to read that one.

  2. I think I've read around the same amount of books you did, but not sure how many of them are 2012 releases, haha. I'm so excited for the fest!

  3. You read so many awesome 2012 releases! My 2012 list is heavy on contemporary too... It's been really hard to assign my superlatives in those contemporary categories. I had to cheat and go with a few Honorable Mentions. :)
