It's Time For 2013 Superlatives!

It's that time of year again...already! Katy UppermanTracey NeithercottAlison Miller, and I are starting to prep for the Class of 2013: YA Superlatives Blogfest!
We started the YA Superlatives Blogfest back in 2011 as a way to highlight all of our favorite releases from the year. We ended up having so much fun and meeting so many new people, that we decided to make it an annual tradition. I can't believe the year has flown so quickly and it's already time to start thinking about this year's choices...but it is October and we want to make sure that the 3rd annual blogfest is on your radar.

So, what do you need to do to get ready to join in the fun of The Class of 2013: YA Superlatives Blogfest?

1. Check out the YA Superlatives from 2011 and 2012 to get familiar with the categories and see what it's all about. (We might make a few changes here and there, but they'll stay pretty much the same. We'll keep you posted.)

2. Check out your TBR pile. Do you have any 2013 releases sitting there, waiting to be read? Get through them so you have the maximum number of books to work with for all of the categories. It's way more fun when you have more books to choose from. (But you can still participate even if you haven't read a ton.) Also, here's a great list of 2013 releases, in case you need help deciding what to read next.

3. Check out your calendar. Mark the 3rd week of December, 12/16 - 12/20, on your blogging schedule for the Class of 2013: YA Superlatives Blogfest.

That's all you have to do for now! Just keep reading those 2013 releases and we'll be back soon with all the specifics.

So, are you planning to participate in The Class of 2013: YA Superlatives Blogfest?

  1. This is the best news ever.

(So, um, yes. I will be participating. In case that wasn't amply clear.)

  2. I seriously look forward to this blogfest every year. Can't wait! Also, I really need to read more before then. Eep!

  3. Sounds like fun! Just jotted it down so I won't forget. That's right after I come back from 2 weeks off work, so I should be caught up on my reading list by then!

  4. This is the time of year when I wish I wasn't so ambivalent about blogging so I could contribute too. Oh well. I always like reading everyone else's choices and I'll just compose my own in my head.

  5. So, I am kind of loving that little graphic you have for the 2013 blogfest. :) Also, I am so excited about this! Now to finish those 2013 reads...
